Responsibilities

  • Plan and execution of strategies to convert accounts into using the products you are responsible for
  • Ability to make product demonstrations and negotiations with physicians and hospital administrators
  • Partner with appropriate distributers and original equipment manufacturer sales personnel in planning and executing sales strategies to convert accounts
  • Provide information to upper management including market trends, competitive activity, product design needs, regulatory and production requirements
  • Participate in hospital bid tenders
  • Maintain thorough product knowledge including ability to demonstrate products, position products vs. competitive products and in server end users
  • provide regular sales forecasts to the upper management
  • Manage expense budget for all required activities

 

Requirements

  • 3+ years' experiance in medical devices sales
  • Record of selling disposable and capital equipment to hospitals and an ability to communicate value based options
  • Experience calling on Physicians and hospital administrators
  • Experience working with distributors and OEM sales personnel
  • Ability to carry out tasks with minimal support and guidance
  • The ability to undertake a heavy travel schedule
  • Native German and a good level of English
