KR Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting a Finance Manager for this established Private Equity House based in Luxembourg. This role is a mix between accouting, controlling and operations.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare books and records for the Luxembourg entities in accordance with Lux GAAPPrepare monthly and ad-hoc reporting package for Finance and Operations team in US and LondonManage day to day information processing on all settled trade activityManage all internal and external reporting requirementsManage year-end tax process and maintain close interaction with tax advisorsParticipate with the transfer into the new accounting system (Geneva)Act as a “B” level director for the companyDocument accounting, reporting, tax and legal requirementsDetermine control procedures for accounting and reporting

 

Incorporate new entities as neededInteract on a daily basis with US and London based Finance and Operations teamPrepare books and records for UK, US and Cayman entities and assets in accordance with UK GAAP, US GAAP and IFRS, as applicableAssist Boston Finance team with US GAAP audits and reporting, as applicableManage year-end audit process (UK GAAP, US GAAP, IFRS) and maintain close interaction with auditors during year-end audit, as applicableReview Tax Structuring Reports and related Transfer Pricing Reports and coordinate projects/deals for new structures where entities are being incorporated in LuxembourgAct as a liaison between Operations team and business partners to ensure accurate data processing and end result effects on reporting process

 

Desired Skills & Experience 

Fluent in English5 plus years with Luxembourg based work experience in a rigorous environment, experience both in a Trust Company and Audit would be a plusRelevant work experience in fixed income asset classes with familiarity of bank loans, high yield debt and credit derivatives a plusAbility to prioritize responsibilities and work under deadlinesSelf-starter with initiativeDetail-oriented professionalStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong Excel skillsStrong interpersonal skills with capacity to interact with outside parties and personnel across all levels of the firmWillingness to decipher complex legal documentsDedicated team player with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through skillsVAT experience a plus

 

EDUCATION

Four-year college degree with a strong academic backgroundMajor in accounting, finance or related degree preferredCPA, ACA or equivalent qualification
