Our client is active in the sale and distribution of firefighting products and systems in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa. They employ approximately 180 people and has distribution centers in Luxembourg, Germany, Sweden, UK, Italy, Spain, Russia and Turkey. Several local offices in Poland, Romania and Balkans, the Netherlands, and Dubai complete the network of their presence in the EMEA region.


· Identify advanced processes and digital solutions by internal brainstorm
and external benchmark activities
· Investigate related digital solutions, systems and tools of other Minimax
Viking businesses
· Assess and prioritize the identified digital solutions by their benefit for
Viking EMEA and the implementation efforts resulting in a “digital

- Develop and maintain data models and processes according to the business logic, product portfolio structure and digital
· Agree with other departments on data models, data maintenance processes and data management systems
· Specify data models, processes, tools and systems as well as interfaces to be developed/implemented
· Define respective projects, obtain approvals and manage internal and external resources
· Contribute to data modelling, software development, system integration, data migration and testing
· Redefine and supervise processes/workflows according to the digital solution
· Contribute to respective organizational changes and change management
· Train the affected teams in the modified processes/workflows and use of the digital solutions
· Enhance implemented processes, data models and digital solutions considering new requirements and future
technological developments

Qualifications and experience:

· Degree in computer science, business informatics, business administration or comparable qualification
· Sound knowledge about common data base structures and experience in dealing with complex data sets
· Experience in business process development is desirable
· Basic knowledge of common programming languages and content management systems
· Experience with digital solutions and, in particular, with the implementation of integrated ecommerce platforms is a plus
· Good overview of modern IT technologies and trends such as big data analytics, cloud computing, machine learning and
· Experience as business integrator between digital solutions and an ERP is an asset
· Proven skills in project management and knowledge of agile methodologies applied in a multi-national organization
operating in domains of product sales and distribution
· Proven experience in orchestrating software developers, software integrators and in leading external service providers
· Proficient in working with various software and capable to familiarize quickly with any further software
· Interest in the fire protection business and technologies as well as strong commitment to gain a good overview and
understanding of Viking EMEA’s products and systems
