Our client, one of the leading insurance companies in the world is looking for an IT Support Engineer for their brand new Luxembourgish office.


Functions and Duties


1. Providing computer support services both for software and hardware for an organization’s employees

2. Testing of computers and ensuring that computer systems are functioning properly.

3. Physical setting up of computers and software system installation for various computer applications and programs

4. Identifying and solving any problems that affect computer operating systems

5. Discussing with individual staff members who work on the computers what the problems is in order to figure out how to help solve the problem. Individual assessments of computer systems to identify the problem(s)

6. Maintenance of networking systems

7. Maintenance and upgrading of computer systems or offering recommendations on upgrades needed

8. Networking and connecting computers within the same organization to enhance communication

9. Training staff and orienting them on how to use computer hardware and software systems

10. Troubleshooting routine problems and maintenance of servers

11. Carrying out other duties as you may be requested by management

12. Maintaining other computer peripheral devices such as printers and solving printing problems if they arise

Skills and Experience



Advanced written and oral communication skills (French/German or Spanish and English)

Ability to work with limited supervision

Ability to handle inquiries on computer hardware and software

Well versed with different operating systems and antivirus systems

Reliable, flexible, cooperative, respectful & supportive within a team-based environment
